Sustainability. Accessibility. Staffing. Energy Efficiency. Collections. Climate Change. Whether you’re a small garden or large garden, these are just some of the popular topics of conversation as we consider the role of public gardens in a changing world. How do public gardens move forward as well-rounded organizations that demonstrate best practices and innovative ideas with a grounding in science? Join us at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens on September 27-28 for a fun-filled, engaging, and thought-provoking symposium. Meet old friends and new as we work together to create the Gardens of the Future!

We are excited to be partnering with the Public Gardens As Sentinels Against Invasive Plants (PGSIP) initiative for a pre-symposium Data Sharing Workshop. This will take place at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens on Tuesday, September 26th from 2pm-5pm and will cost $25 for symposium attendees. Find more information here. You can add the workshop as part of your symposium registration.

PGSIP is also able to offer a limited number of $500 stipends to those attending both the workshop and the symposium. Applications are due by August 25th, 2023. Find more information and apply here.
