BHS Insurance
BHS Insurance currently insures over 100 public gardens across the United States. This affinity program allows current American Public Gardens Association member institutions to offer Better Homes & Gardens digital magazine subscriptions as an incentive to their members. This is offer is good for a one-year subscription per member. Offer valid in the United States and Canada.

What is the Better Homes & Gardens Benefit?
This affinity program is a member benefit for Association Institutions to use as an incentive to attract new members to their institutions. It is not available for corporate or individual-level memberships.
This Subscription program provides a one-year digital magazine subscription to each person that purchases a membership from one of our member gardens that has NOT utilized the digital magazine subscription through this program in the past.
This program is voluntary – direct your members to fill out the online form to receive their annual digital subscription. There is not a printed subscription form available.
This program is not retroactive
What are the Guidelines?
- Your Institution must be a current Association Institutional Member.
- This Member Benefit is intended to be an incentive to increase your membership sales.
- Please do not encourage members who have already used this benefit in the past to re-subscribe with this offer
What Do I Have to Do?
- Each participating Garden/Institution will designate a representative (or the Membership Manager).
- Provide this link to your members that have not enjoyed this subscription before and ask them to complete the digital form to sign up for their digital magazine subscription.
Provide clear instructions: To redeem the subscription, each person must complete the digital form to begin receiving Better Homes & Gardens magazine. Please do not complete the form for your members. Clarify to your members that their digital subscription does not happen automatically with their membership activation to your garden/institution; they must complete the form to subscribe. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing.
